This is one S W E E T, numbers matching ride! 19,500 actual miles! When I pull up to a Corvette meet or rallye, the first thing the guys say are: "That is one Sweet '76!" They look inside and say: "Those look like the original seats!" They pull up the seats, look at the backs and say: "They are!" Then: "The clock works!" After that, they finally believe it is an 19,500 actual mile car.

I am the third owner of this car. The original owner worked on an assembly line in Michigan and was paralyzed in an accident. In 1978, he moved to Florida and had the car shipped there. It sat in his garage until his death in 1990. In 1991, with less than 10,000 miles, a couple in West Palm Beach bought the car and restored it. (I have all receipts!) During the long storage, the seals dried out and everything had to be gone through. The engine was rebuilt, the transmission was gone through, the seals replaced, you name it and it was redone! The car was repainted and used to attend local shows.

This car is polo white with deluxe red leather interior.  It has power windows, power brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Tilt and telescopic Steering Wheel, Aluminum wheels, White letter steel belted tires GR70X15, Turbo Hydra-matic Automatic Transmission, Map light on the rear view mirror and T-tops. 

My wife and I drove this car from West Palm Beach Florida and it drives great!  "Freedom,"  as I named her, is a real attention getter! The air conditioning was converted to R134 and blows cold, the paint is fantastic and, overall, it is a 9 out of 10 point car.  The only thing missing from the car is that when the car was repainted, they took out the alarm system and covered the key hole next to the Stingray emblem.  If you want a 10 point car, that is the only thing you would need to do.
